Matt Tremont has reportedly remained hospitalised following burns sustained during his Double Hell Explosion Match against Atsushi Onita on October 31.

As previously reported, Tremont was admitted to hospital in New Jersey following his hellacious main-event bout with Onita at the H20 event in Trenton two weeks ago, as the 32-year-old found himself in increasingly worrying levels of pain following the match.

The initial hope had been that Tremont would be in the burn ward for approximately a week but, according to PWInsider, the former CZW World Heavyweight Champion is still an in-patient at the burn ward 11 days following his admittance.

Tremont sustained his injuries during the finish of his bout with Onita, when he light a barbed wire board on fire and sent Tremont into the board. Tremont's attired was seen to be burning as he came off it, before the resulting bump put the fire out.

Everyone at Cultaholic sends our best wishes and hopes for a swift recovery to Matt Tremont.
