Mick Foley: Braun Strowman Is A Can't Miss Signing For AEW

Would you like to see Strowman in AEW?

WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley believes Braun Strowman is a "can't miss signing" for All Elite Wrestling.

Foley shared his thoughts on Twitter yesterday while commenting on The Monster Among Men's WWE release, writing: "The Strowman release is particularly surprising - but I'm guessing Braun can write his own ticket for anywhere he'd like to work. A fired up Strowman would seem like a can't miss signing for @AEW."

Fans will ultimately have to wait until September to find out if AEW agrees with Foley as Strowman is under a 90-day non-compete clause following his release. The former Universal Champion was let go by WWE yesterday along with Aleister Black, Lana, Murphy, Santana Garrett and Ruby Riott.

Strowman's release reportedly didn't come as a surprise to the locker room because he signed a "monster" new deal with WWE back in 2019. The Monster Among Men knew his worth at the time and he re-upped with the company on a $1 million per year deal through 2023.
