Mickie James Joins NWA - All Women's PPV Announced
The former WWE and TNA Women’s Champion joins a growing women’s division
The NWA have announced another new face to their women’s division, as WWE legend Mickie James has joined the company.
James appeared on the season premier of NWA Powerrr on Tuesday alongside NWA President Billy Corgan, where it was announced that the NWA will promote the first ever all women’s pay-per-view in company history.
The show is scheduled for August 28, and James will be an executive producer for the event, as well as ‘scouting worldwide’ for talent to work the event.
With the NWA ushering in a new chapter of their women’s division with Kamille becoming the new NWA Women’s World Champion, as well as the recent signing of Kylie Rae, the addition of James and the women’s PPV announcement makes for exciting news.
As of writing there is no word if James will be pulling double duty both backstage and in-ring for the NWA, or if her appointment is strictly in the role of a producer.
