Mickie James Says She's On Her 'Last Rodeo'

There has been recent speculation regarding the in-ring future of IMPACT Wrestling star Mickie James. 

The former WWE Women's Champion had previously indicated that she was 'done' with wrestling, before saying that she didn't know what was next for her, and on the September 1 episode of IMPACT, Mickie addressed her future.

James thanked the fans for their support and said that she has loved her time in the business, but that the last few years have been an emotional whirlwind. She confirmed that she wasn't retiring just yet, because she still wants to prove that she can compete with the best. 

She then announced an open challenge series in the hope of earning an opportunity at the Knockouts Title. However, if she loses a match she will step away from the squared circle for good. 

The series is being billed as Mickie's 'last rodeo'.
