Mickie James Taking "A Break" From TNA Wrestling

Mickie James is on a break from TNA Wrestling

Mickie James is one of the most celebrated names in IMPACT/TNA Knockouts history, with James having reigned as Knockouts World Champion on five different occasions.

James’ profile on the official IMPACT website is no longer listed in the ‘active competitors’ section of the site, with a report from PWInsider Elite stating that James is taking a break from the organisation.

The report states that the relationship between James and IMPACT is fine, and that James could walk back into the IMPACT Zone ‘at any time’.

‘Hardcore Country’s 2023 has been marred by injury, with James forced to relinquish the Knockouts World Championship after suffering injury in February. James returned to IMPACT at IMPACT 1000 in September, with her last match coming at Bound for Glory on October 21, in which James was unsuccessful in her attempts to regain the Knockouts Championship, losing to champion Trinity in singles action.

Prior to her IMPACT return in September, James wrestled at RevPro’s 11th Anniversary Show in London’s Copper Box Arena in August during All In Weekend.
