Mike Knox Vs. Harry Smith Announced For NWA Powerrr Trip 2
A first time meeting for Mike Knox and Harry Smith in NWA
Another match has been confirmed for NWA’s upcoming Powerrr Trip 2 event, as Mike Knox and Harry Smith will face off in singles action.
NWA made the announcement on Twitter, saying:
“Two of the biggest powerhouses in NWA collide on April 30th in Oak Grove, KY for PowerrrTrip 2! What happens when @DBSmithjr meets @bookmikeknox one-on-one!?”
The match comes as an extension of the NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship feud between champion Matt Cardona and Nick Aldis, as Knox is allied with the champ, whilst Smith is close with Aldis and Doug Williams.
This will be the first ever singles meeting between Smith and Knox, with the two previously sharing a ring on three separate occasions in WWE, last featuring in a dark show battle royal before WrestleMania 26 in 2010.
Powerrr Trip 2 is set for April 30 in Oak Grove, Kentucky.
