Mina Shirakawa Vs. Mercedes Moné Announced For NJPW Wrestle Dynasty
NJPW Wrestle Dynasty to feature Mercedes Moné vs. Mina Shirakawa
Dec 16, 2024
A major match has been confirmed for the inaugural NJPW Wrestle Dynasty show on January 5, with Mina Shirakawa vs. Mercedes Moné set for the crossover show in the Tokyo Dome.
Moné was in action at NJPW Strong Style Evolved on December 15, with a main event win over Hazuuki in Long Beach, California. Post-match, Shirakawa arrived to confront Moné, with it confirmed that the two will clash in the Tokyo Dome, with Moné’s NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship, and Mina’s RevPro Undisputed British Women's Championship set to be contested in a winner take all bout.
This will be the first ever meeting of Moné and Shirakawa. The two are both currently appearing for AEW - Moné signed full-time - but have yet to share any screen time for Tony Khan’s company.
Shirakawa has been in possession of the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Championship since defeating Dani Luna for the bet in August 2024. Moné has held the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship since taking the title from Stephanie Vaquer at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in June 2024.
