Minoru Suzuki Discharged From Hospital Following Concussion

Minoru Suzuki has been given the all clear

Minoru Suzuki was involved in a concerning incident over this weekend when wrestling in a show on July 6 for Tenryu Project at their Osaka Crush Night event. There was a mishap in a match which led to a referee stoppage, as revealed by the promotion in a statement, which led to him being hospitalised.

It was later revealed that Suzuki had been diagnosed with a concussion, but was able to walk and talk freely without any further injuries. The company also revealed in their statement that Suzuki was discharged and able to leave the hospital, though his condition would continue to be monitored. Suzuki took to X to update fans on his condition.

He revealed that he did a CT scan and other tests, and there were no further problems outside of the concussion diagnosis. Suzuki revealed that he remembers everything that happened, closing out his post by declaring “If I see you again, I’ll beat you all up.”

Suzuki recently appeared via a video package on AEW programming, teasing a future singles match with FTW Champion Chris Jericho. It isn’t clear when or if this match will take place given Suzuki’s concussion.
