MJF Planning On Going After The AEW World Title After Chris Jericho Feud Ends

MJF has his eyes on the biggest prize

MJF says he cannot consider going after the AEW World Championship until he has eliminated Chris Jericho.

MJF and Jericho have been embroiled in a heated rivalry on AEW Dynamite over the last few months, with 'The Salt Of The Earth' defeating Jericho's fellow Inner Circle member Sammy Guevara on Wednesday's episode.

The 25-year-old has feuded for the AEW World Tittle before, losing to Jon Moxley at last year's All Out, and says the only reason he isn't featuring in the main-event scene is because Jericho has his full attention at the moment.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated: "I’m going to get to that world title. I should be world champion right now. Jon Moxley hit an illegal manoeuvre on me [at last summer’s All Out]. And the reason I can’t focus on that is because of Chris Jericho. He’s the reason I’m not challenging for the world title.

“I can’t get to that world title if Chris Jericho still exists in my company. That’s my goal."
