Moose Vs. Sami Callihan Monster's Ball Match Announced For IMPACT Slammiversary

Moose vs. Sami Callihan set to dance the Monster's Ball at IMPACT Slammiversary 2022

An old brutal favourite is set to return at IMPACT Slammiversary on June 19, as Sami Callihan and Moose are to face off in a Monster’s Ball Match.

Since Callihan’s return from an ankle injury he has been determined to make Moose’s life a living Hell, with ‘The Wrestling God’ having been the one who put Callihan on the shelf in the first place. On the June 9 edition of IMPACT Wrestling the two brawled throughout the arena, before Sami gouged Moose’s eye with a key, and locked him in a room, with the match being made official later on in the show.

This is set to be the second Monster’s Ball match of 2022, after PCO defeated JONAH on IMPACT Wrestling in early May.

Traditionally seen as Abyss’ speciality match, the Monster’s Ball is a traditional weapons strewn hardcore match, with the added caveat that all competitors must spend the preceding 24 hours locked away in solitary confinement without light, food, or water.

In the past, the likes of Samoa Joe, Rhino, Jeff Hardy, and Rob VanDam have emerged victorious from Monster’s Ball matches.
