More Names Official For The Royal Rumble
Names have been added to the men's and women's Royal Rumble matches
In recent years, WWE has had a trend of announcing a large number of competitors for the Royal Rumble field ahead of time, and that looks to be the case again this year as even more names have made themselves official for both the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches.
During this week’s Friday Night SmackDown, Bianca Belair made the announcement that she would be competing in the Women’s Royal Rumble, making her the fourth official entrant in the match. Belair previously won the 2021 Royal Rumble match, entering the bout at number 3 in an impressive win.
Also on SmackDown, Bobby Lashley came to the ring with the Street Profits for a promo segment, during which he announced himself for the Men’s Royal Rumble match, before he, Montez Ford, and Angelo Dawkins were ambushed by Karrion Kross and the Authors of Pain.
The official field for the two Royal Rumble matches is now looking like this;
Men’s Royal Rumble Match - Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Lashley
Women’s Royal Rumble Match - Bayley, Nia Jax, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair
