Mustafa Ali Revealed As Leader Of RETRIBUTION On WWE Raw

Why does Apollo Crews keep losing friends...

The unveiling of RETRIBUTION on the September 21 edition of Monday Night Raw was met with an overwhelmingly negative response. Fans were not impressed with the stable and the group's segments were reportedly met with laughter backstage. Other WWE Superstars also thought their names were "ridiculous."

RETRIBUTION has started to win some fans over with their work on social media and the faction now has an established leader. T-Bar seemed to be heading the group in recent weeks, but Mustafa Ali was revealed as the true Leader of RETRIBUTION last night.

During Raw, the former Heart Of 205 Live went one on one with MVP to continue their on-off feud. The two Superstars battled back and forth for a few minutes until the lights inside the ThunderDome went out. RETRIBUTION suddenly surrounded the ring and Ali initially teased fighting the invaders with The Hurt Business, but he shockingly exited the squared circle and ordered T-Bar and Mace to lead the assault against Bobby Lashley, MVP and Shelton Benjamin.

RETRIBUTION then proceeded to annihilate their rivals and Mustafa Ali stood in the ring with his minions to close out the segment.

Why WWE decided to reveal the cruiserweight as the Leader of RETRIBUTION is currently unknown, but Ali was set be pushed earlier this year as the SmackDown hacker until the angle was suddenly dropped. He ultimately returned to WWE TV on Raw back in July, but he has spent much of his time wrestling on Main Event.
