New Account Of AEW All In Altercation Between CM Punk & Jack Perry Emerges

A new account of the CM Punk-Jack Perry AEW All In scuffle has emerged

The likelihood of us ever hearing a full account of the backstage fight between CM Punk and Jack Perry at All Elite Wrestling’s huge All In 2023 show is slim to none, with all sides involved said to have signed non-disclosure agreements.

Several versions of the story emerged in the days and weeks following the backstage fight between the two men, but a new account of the fight has emerged from DJ Whoo Kid who was performing at the show as part of Swerve Strickland’s entourage. Talking on Jim Norton & Sam Roberts, Whoo Kid said the following about ‘Brawl In’:

"You already know what happened in the back. It was straight brawl city. I'm not gonna talk about that. Blood and killing and death [laughs]. You might as well say it," Whoo Kid said. "I was right there. We were next. They put us to be ready to go."

After Roberts explained the situation to Norton, Whoo Kid continued:

"It was crazy. It's ongoing they told me, this has been an ongoing… that was the last straw," said Whoo Kid. "It was the biggest moment for AEW and I guess he [Punk] was trying to sabotage that moment. He wasn’t trying to go out there. I'm in the middle. I'm the fly on the wall. It was very intense. I always thought it was fake and all this s***. It's more real. It was wrestling back there. A DDT, everything. I'm exaggerating.

"There was a yelling moment where he was like ‘f*** this s***, this is our moment, everybody get the f*** out there and do your s***.’ I was like, I don't wrestle, but I was about to go out there. It was very intense. I will always respect wrestling after I saw that."

When asked who was yelling, Whoo Kid inferred that it was Samoa Joe:

“The big guy. The Hawaiian-looking [dude]. It was the guy going ham and I was like, 'Oh s***.’ Then blood was everywhere from the fight before that. They came in and they were bleeding. I was like, 'what is going on around here?' This was intense,” said Whoo Kid.

CM Punk was fired with cause for his actions at All In, with it reported that Punk made a ‘lunge’ for AEW President Tony Khan.
