AEW Worlds End 2024 is fast approaching, taking place on Saturday December 28 next week, being held in the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. During AEW Collision’s episode in the Hammerstein Ballroom last night, a new title match was announced for the upcoming PPV event.

Kris Statlander battled Penelope Ford on Collision last night, though prior to the match she issued out a challenge to TBS Champion Mercedes Moné. Back at the Full Gear 2024 PPV, Moné successfully defended her gold in an acclaimed match that the champion described as being one of her two favourite matches from her entire career. Statlander has also been shown in recent weeks scouting Moné’s title defences.

Following Statlander’s win on Collision, Moné emerged and said because she was in the holiday mood, she was no longer taking Worlds End off and was happy to accept the TBS Title challenge.

The updated card for Worlds End is as follows:

  • Jon Moxley (c) vs. Jay White vs. Adam Page vs. Orange Cassidy - AEW World Championship
  • Mariah May (c) vs. Thunder Rosa - AEW Women’s World Championship
  • Adam Cole vs. MJF - Dynamite Diamond Ring
  • 2024 Continental Classic Semi Finals & Final
  • Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. Powerhouse Hobbs - AEW International Championship
  • Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Kris Statlander - TBS Championship
