New TNA Signing Praised For Work On UK Indies
Leon Slater is receiving a lot of praise across pro wrestling
The newly re-christened TNA Wrestling had a successful spell overseas in their recent UK tour, and whilst they were on the isles, UK talent Leon Slater was signed to the promotion.
Slater has been making a name for himself in recent times on the UK independent scene and in excursions across the globe, and at just 19 years of age, he has succeeded in his spells in the likes of RevPro, GCW, PROGRESS, and more. There are multiple fans of Slater in the professional wrestling business, and one of those in Suge D, who sang his praises in an interview on Fightul’s Overbooked Podcast.
“America is about to get familiar with somebody real soon, Leon Slater. Congratulations to him, real talk. I met Leon at a NORTH show in Newcastle and when I tell you he’s one of the most respectful kids, he’ll always ask questions.”
Suge D went on to talk about how the UK scene went from booming to broken, but paid respect to the young stars like Slater who are rising up and growing the scene once again.
