Nia Jax Reveals Her Pro Wrestling Future

What next for Nia Jax?

While the likes of Keith Lee, Malakai Black, Mia Yim, Buddy Matthews, and Killer Kross have continued to perform since their WWE releases in 2021, Nia Jax has stayed away from the squared circle, with her last match being against Shayna Baszler on a September 2021 episode of Monday Night Raw.

Fanene was initially scheduled to return to the ring at Wrestling Entertainment Series' inaugural show but her appearance was cancelled before the event was eventually scrapped.

Fanene has provided an update on her professional wrestling future since then, telling the Wives of Wrestling Podcast: "You know, I always thought I would never wrestle again. I don't think I'd go back to full-time wrestling because it was, it's crazy, now they have it different, but it just took a lot. It took a toll on me.

"But I wouldn't mind going back and doing like a fun little story and, you know, putting somebody over whatever, like something like that. But like, I think, you know, I gave it a good amount of time and now I'm like, prefer to just God willing, get married and have kids, you know."

Fanene has remained busy since her WWE release and the former Raw Women's Champion noted she does modelling "every now and then", as well as help take care of her nephew.
