Nick Gage To Wrestle Chris Jericho At AEW Fight For The Fallen

Le Champion, meet MDK

Deathmatch legend Nick Gage appeared on AEW's second night of Fyter Fest, appearing at the side of MJF as part of MJF's ongoing "Labors of Jericho" challenges.

Jericho had just defeated Shawn Spears in a match where Spears was permitted to use a steel chair, whereas Jericho wasn't. After the match, MJF laid out the second challenge, in which he announced that, in a "No Disqualification" match, Jericho would have to face Gage.

Gage then appeared before the crowd in Dallas at the side of MJF, while Jericho registered apprehension from inside the ring.

Per the story, Jericho has to win a series of grueling matches in order to get his desired singles match with MJF.

Gage currently reigns as the champion of Game Changer Wrestling, in his second reign. He is also a four time CZW champion (winning his last one in 2010 over Jon Moxley), and is a winner of numerous deathmatch tournaments (including CZW's Tournament of Death, GCW's Tournament of Survival, and his personalized Nick Gage Invitational in 2019).

Gage was also subject of a Dark Side of the Ring episode that aired this past May.
