NJPW Announces Texas & Philadelphia Strong Tapings

NJPW USA goes on the road

NJPW Strong will leave California for the first time later this year.

The USA show has been airing on NJPW World since August 2020 but all previous episodes have been taped at an empty Thunder Studios in Long Beach, California. Strong will have fans for the first time later this month for NJPW Resurgence and the August tapings and fans will continue to be in attendance in September and October.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced today they will head to the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas on September 25 and September 26 for two days of Strong: Autumn Attack tapings. Tickets for the event go on sale at 11 am CT on Sunday, August 8.

The promotion will then head to the famous 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 16 and October 17 for two nights of tapings named NJPW Strong: New Japan Showdown 2021. Tickets go on sale on August 8 at 12 pm ET. 

The likes of Jay White, Juice Robinson, David Finlay, Fred Rosser and Lio Rush have been advertised for both sets of tapings.
