English-speaking New Japan Pro-Wrestling fans will soon be able to watch shows with live English commentary once again.

New Japan's major shows in 2021 have been commentated on by the likes of Kevin Kelly, Chris Charlton, Rocky Romero and Matt Rehwoldt, but English commentary has been added at a later date for the smaller shows.

This won't be the case once G1 Climax 31 begins, though, as NJPW announced every G1 event will have live, in-person English commentary. Live English commentary will also be available for both Wrestle Grand Slam in MetLife Dome events on September 4 and September 5.

The Tournament Of Tournaments is set to run from September 18 until the finals on October 20 and October 21. None of the entrants have been officially revealed as of yet but Chase Owens will reportedly be in the tournament for the first time. Some big names also won't be in action in the G1 and the likes of Jay White, Juice Robinson, David Finlay and former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay will be performing on NJPW's USA shows instead.
