NJPW Strong New Beginning USA 2022 Set For January 15

Tapings to start out 2022

New Japan Pro-Wrestling will hold their first Strong tapings of 2022 on January 15.

The promotion announced on Sunday that Strong will begin with a 'New Beginning USA' taping from Seattle's Washington Hall.

Matches for the show have yet to be announced but NJPW revealed Jay White, Tom Lawlor, JONAH, El Phantasmo, Fred Rosser and Gabriel Kidd will be in action on January 15.

Tickets for the show are already on sale.

NJPW have begun the year with a series of 'New Beginning USA' shows in recent years. The events have featured some big moments in the past and Guerrillas Of Destiny defeated FinJuice for the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship in 2020, while Jon Moxley retained the IWGP United States Heavyweight Title against KENTA last year.

Before heading to Washington Hall, NJPW Strong will hold their final tapings of 2021 on December 9 at the Vermont Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. Matches set for the show include Jay White vs. Christopher Daniels, JONAH vs. David Finlay and Eddie Kingston vs. Gabriel Kidd.
