NWA Hard Times 2 Set For December

NWA’s next super-card is set for Atlanta, Georgia

After the success of the recent NWA 73rd Anniversary Show, Billy Corgan has announced NWA Hard Times 2 is set for December 4.

Corgan made the announcement on Busted Open Radio, adding that the event will take place at GPB Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, and will air on Fite TV.

The first Hard Times event was held in the same building on January 24 2020, main evented by Ricky Starks defeating Trevor Murdoch for the NWA World Television Championship.

No matches have been announced yet for Hard Times 2’s card, but it is expected that new NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion Trevor Murdoch will be in action. You can imagine there will be a heavy presence from NWA’s women’s division, after the success of the recent all-women EmPowerrr show.

The pay-per-view name is in homage to former three-time NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion Dusty Rhodes, whose ‘hard times’ promo in 1985 is still regarded as one of the finest in pro wrestling history.
