NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title Match Set For Hard Times 3

The main event for NWA Hard Times 3 has been confirmed, with NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Trevor Murdoch set to defend the title against former Champion Matt Cardona.

The match was announced by Kyle Davis on the September 20 edition of NWA Powerrr, with Cardona and Murdoch having feuded in recent weeks, since Cardona’s NWA return at NWA 74.

Animosity between Murdoch and Cardona began in early 2022, with Cardona defeating Murdoch for the 10lbs of Gold at NWA PowerrrTrip on February 12. Cardona had to vacate the title in June due to a biceps injury, with Murdoch winning a four way match for the vacant strap at Alwayz Ready, overcoming Nick Aldis, Sam Shaw, and Thom Latimer.

NWA Hard Times 3 is set for Chalmette, Louisiana on November 12.
