NXT Talent Announced For Reality Of Wrestling Show

An NXT talent will be appearing in Reality of Wrestling

An NXT talent will have their first-ever independent wrestling match next month.

Reality of Wrestling have announced that NXT's Trick Williams will be at their Summer of Champions show. The event will be taking place on July 15 at the Humble Civic Center in Humble, Texas. If Williams will be wrestling at the show has yet to be revealed.

While Reality of Wrestling is an indy promotion, the company is run by Booker T and his wife Sharmell Sullivan-Huffman. Booker T, of course, is the colour commentator on WWE NXT alongside Vic Joseph and the five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion has been in that role since October 2022.

NXT talents have worked Reality of Wrestling before and Ivy Nile defeated Promise Braxton at the promotion's show on February 11. At the time there was speculation about if NXT talents could work regularly on the indies but Shawn Michaels stated Nile's booking was simply a 'one-off' after Booker T asked for a favour.

There was reportedly interest from other indies in booking NXT talents, though, should WWE decide to change their policy in the future.
