Orange Cassidy's Plans Following AEW Worlds End Revealed
What’s next for Orange Cassidy following AEW Worlds End?
Dec 30, 2024
All Elite Wrestling said goodbye to 2024 on December 28 with Worlds End, with Orange Cassidy failing to win the AEW World Championship during a four-way main event.
Whilst AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and his Death Riders have found the ire of Adam Copeland and FTR, Cassidy has seemingly turned his attention to Hangman Page, with Cassidy saying the following to the former AEW World Champion in a digital exclusive:
“I don’t know what I’m doing, I don’t know why I’m here - whatever I’ve been doing has not been working. But I’m going to keep showing up and find whatever it is I’m missing, and this Wednesday on Dynamite I should probably start with Hangman,” said Cassidy.
Cassidy and Hangman were both involved in Worlds End’s main event, alongside Jay White. Despite being ‘all elite’ since AEW’s inception in 2019, Cassidy and Hangman have never worked a programme together, with Worlds End the first time the two had faced off in non-gimmick/multi-man action.
The January 1 Dynamite will be the ‘Fight for the Fallen’ special of the show, and will be simul-cast across TBS and MAX in the United States.
