Pat McAfee On If He'd Pass A Drug Test For WrestleMania: "I'm On Everything They Test For"

Don't expect to see Pat McAfee compete at WrestleMania 40 as he won't pass a drugs test

Pat McAfee is currently back in the fold in WWE as one half of the Monday Night RAW commentary team alongside Michael Cole following his return at the 2024 Royal Rumble. McAfee has been present at WWE’s previous two WrestleMania events as a competitor, facing both Austin Theory & Mr. McMahon at WrestleMania 38 and The Miz at the Showcase Of The Immortals last year, but don’t expect to see him back in the ring this year.

McAfee recently appeared on All The Smoke, and he was asked about the possibility of seeing him back in the ring for WrestleMania 40. McAfee said he didn’t know, but he’s currently on the “rich guy stuff” to keep him in shape after his NFL retirement, though he did admittedly reveal that he didn’t have a clue about the long-term effects of whatever he was taking. When it comes to competing at WrestleMania, he said he isn’t sure if he’d pass a drugs test.

"I don’t think I could pass any drug test for WrestleMania because they drug test people. I am on everything I think they’re testing for.”

As fun as it is to see McAfee in the ring, with him now officially having seven matches under his belt in WWE, he will likely stick to commentary at WrestleMania 40.
