Paul Heyman Teases 'Twists & Turns' In Upcoming Brock Lesnar & Roman Reigns WWE Feud

Lesnar will be at this week's SmackDown

Paul Heyman says no one will be able to predict the 'twists and turns' that WWE have in store for the impending Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar storyline.

Lesnar is set to make his first WWE television appearance in 18 months on Friday as he shows up at SmackDown in Madison Square Garden. The Beast confronted Universal Champion Reigns and his legal counsel Heyman, who used to be his advocate, at the conclusion of SummerSlam last month.

Heyman believes the situation was always going to need confronting from the moment he paired with Reigns last year and those questions may get some answers at this week's SmackDown.

In an interview with The New York Post, Heyman said: "I think we all knew this situation was going to come to a head someday. From the moment I appeared on SmackDown television with Roman Reigns, it was, 'Oh my God what is Brock Lesnar’s advocate doing with Roman Reigns now?'

"This is an unanswered question that has to be addressed and no better place to address it than Brock Lesnar’s first appearance on television in 18 months in The World’s Most Famous Arena - Madison Square Garden live on television.”

With Lesnar set to be portrayed as a babyface on the SmackDown brand, Heyman floated the notion of The Beast challenging for any other Title in WWE, saying it's possible he could work with both Lesnar and Reigns going forward.

"I don’t know if we end up in a situation where Brock Lesnar can’t go after a different championship other than Roman Reigns’ and he can have his advocate and Roman Reigns can have his special counsel.

"There’s a lot of decisions to be made and there’s a lot of scenarios that can play out and I dare suggest anyone who thinks that they have this figured out doesn’t have a clue as to the twists and turns that could and will come in the near future."
