Plans For Giulia's WWE NXT Debut Scrapped

Giulia's WWE NXT debut at Heatwave has been scrapped

Plans for Giulia's WWE NXT debut have been scrapped.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Giulia is "definitely not wrestling" Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Championship at NXT Heatwave on July 7. The match has been scrapped due to Giulia's fractured wrist and she won't be ready to wrestle in time for the event, although Meltzer claimed that Giulia herself and multiple sources have denied she was ever booked for Heatwave.

Regardless, Giulia will be heading to WWE NXT later this year. The former World of STARDOM Champion is currently one of Marigold's top stars but she fractured her wrist at the promotion's debut show. Giulia has since had surgery and she is still being advertised to face Sareee at Marigold Summer Destiny on July 13.

Giulia has yet to make her full WWE debut but she was shown in the crowd at NXT Stand & Deliver over WrestleMania 40 weekend in a callback to how new NXT signings would typically be revealed during the black and gold era of the brand before 2021.

Based on recent episodes of WWE NXT, Roxanne Perez vs. Lola Vice may be the NXT Women's Title match at Heatwave.
