AEW All In: London 2024 in Wembley Stadium is rapidly approaching, and the main event of the show will feature AEW Champion Swerve Strickland taking on Bryan Danielson in a Title vs. Career showdown, where Danielson agreed to never wrestle again if he lost the match.
There has been much talk this year of Danielson’s career slowing down, with it revealed previously that this would be the final year of his career as a full-time wrestler. Additionally, it was stated by Danielson in recent months that he was competing in AEW without a contract presently.
When looking ahead to the result of AEW All In 2024, Dave Meltzer revealed a potential spoiler on Wrestling Observer Radio, saying, “Put it this way, when it was originally told the scenario, and this was months and months and months ago, it was Danielson winning then.”
Whether or not this is still the working plan remains to be seen, but the fact that this result was reportedly pitched and forecast, it was Danielson walking away with the AEW World Championship and ensuring that his in-ring career continues.
