Possible Spoiler: Major WWE Stars Backstage At Money In The Bank

Who is backstage at WWE Money in the Bank?

A couple of major WWE stars are backstage at Money in the Bank ahead of the show beginning at 12 am BST/ 7 pm ET at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, John Cena and CM Punk are backstage at Money in the Bank. It emerged earlier today via Fightful Select that Cena was in Toronto but it was unknown if he was planned for the show.

Whether Cena will appear has yet to be confirmed but Trish Stratus, the host of Money in the Bank, is listed for a 15-minute promo segment on the show so Cena could conceivably be used during this portion of the event.

CM Punk has been in a feud with Drew McIntyre for months, although he has not appeared on camera since being laid out by McIntyre in Chicago on the post-Clash at the Castle edition of SmackDown. McIntyre is scheduled to compete in the men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match so Punk may pop up in the ladder match and cost 'Irn Dru' the win.

Paul Heyman is also backstage at Money in the Bank. Heyman is typically at all WWE events working behind the scenes even if he isn't scheduled to appear on the show.
