Backlash

WWE's next pay-per-view Backlash is less than three weeks away and will be broadcast on June 14 on the WWE Network. Three matches have been announced for the show so far as Drew McIntyre will defend the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley, Braun Strowman will face off against The Miz and John Morrison in a Universal title match, and the company is still billing Edge vs. Randy Orton as "The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever."

The fourth bout was added to the card last night as Natalya, Nia Jax, and Charlotte Flair clashed in a number one contender's match. The three women ultimately fought back and forth but Jax picked up the win after delivering a vicious Samoan Drop to Natalya.

The Facebreaker was the obvious pick to win the match for many after last week's episode of Raw. Neither Flair or Natalya had been part of a storyline with new champion Asuka, but Nia confronted The Empress Of Tomorrow on May 18 as she spoiled her title celebration then beat down Kairi Sane backstage.
