Rebel Provides Update On Her AEW Status

Rebel no longer working backstage in AEW

Rebel has provided an update on her status with All Elite Wrestling, confirming that she is still under contract with the promotion as an on-screen talent. She is no longer involved with AEW's hair and makeup department, however.

"I did that again. I thought after I left IMPACT, I was like, you know what? Let's try again and I started doing the hair and makeup and then got thrown in front of the camera again and at this point, I have now said, God, I hear you. I now know that your will for me is this. I'm going to accept it and quit fighting it and yeah, so I don't do the hair and makeup anymore and just strictly on-camera talent and that's what I plan to keep doing. I lost my passion for makeup and hair (she laughed). I've had a ball at AEW and it's a lot of fun, and I had a lot of fun at IMPACT too so, yeah," Rebel said on Wilde On.

Rebel initially signed with AEW in 2019 to work on hair and makeup but she became an on-screen character in April 2020 as the assistant of Britt Baker, with a running gag being that Baker called her Reba. Rebel later became the manager of both Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter but Rebel was pulled from TV after Baker and Hayter turned babyface in early 2023 as part of their programme with The Outcasts.

Recent reports noted that Rebel remained under contract with AEW and she is continuing to work on her podcast that is published on AdFreeShows.com.
