Satoshi Kojima Apologises For Giving CM Punk An Elbow Drop To The Nether Regions At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

Satoshi Kojima apologised to CM Punk on social media following AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

Satoshi Kojima took to Twitter to apologise to CM Punk following their match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door last weekend.

The Japanese veteran posted: "My elbow drop hit his c**k. sorry. But it's not on purpose. Accident. Because I don't have that kind of technology. #AEWxNJPW #forbiddendoor."

Punk ultimately won the bout between the two, pinning Kojima after a Go to Sleep in a 13-minute match. Their bout was second on the card following MJF vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi, and was a fairly late addition to the line-up, with Punk vs. KENTA having been rumoured in the build to the show. Kojima instead took on Punk, with the match forming part of the first round of the men's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

In victory, Punk advances to the next round. The women's version of the tournament was also represented at the event, with reigning ROH Women's World Champion Athena defeating Billie Starkz on AEW's 'Buy In' pre-show.

Last year saw the inaugural edition of the tournament, with Adam Cole winning the men's bracket, and Britt Baker winning the women's. Samoa Joe and Ruby Soho were the respective beaten finalists.
