Report: AEW Have No Plans For Scorpio Sky

Scorpio Sky was last on AEW TV in July

It’s been several months since we last saw Scorpio Sky on AEW TV, with the former TNT Champion last appearing on the July 6 edition of Dynamite, dropping the title to Wardlow before taking time off to heal from injury.

However, a new report from Fightful Select suggests that Sky has been cleared for an in-ring return for ‘some time’ but has yet to return to TV due to a lack of plans for the character from AEW. The report alleges that Sky has been backstage at at least one episode of Dynamite in the summer, and even recorded content which ultimately did not air.

Scorpio Sky has been part of All Elite Wrestling since its inception, reigning as one-half of the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champions with Frankie Kazarian as SCU. Sky is also a two-time former TNT Champion, and was aligned on AEW TV with Ethan Page as The Men of the Year before taking time off due to his leg injury.
