Report: AEW Talent 'Very Frustrated' With The Latest CM Punk-The Elite Drama

The latest problems within AEW have left talent stuck in the middle frustrated

The latest issues within All Elite Wrestling between CM Punk and The Elite has left talent stuck in the middle "very, very frustrated" according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer.

"The whole thing is a mess. I know people that are not affiliated with either side who are just very, very frustrated that this thing just continues to happen and, you know, two weeks before the biggest show that the company is ever gonna do that this comes up. It's the same thing from literally a year and a half ago and nothing has changed because nobody has changed. It's the same old, same old," Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio

The latest problems involving CM Punk were sparked by the two-time AEW World Champion taking shots at Hangman Page following the August 12 edition of AEW Collision. Reports have noted that Punk has since apologised to Hangman Page and that Punk was trying to make a joke that immediately backfired.

It has also emerged, though, that Punk has reportedly blocked Christopher Daniels and Ryan Nemeth from AEW Collision. Many in the locker room also believe that Punk was involved in blocking Hangman Page, Matt Hardy, and Isiah Kassidy from tapings of Collision, although Punk was said not to be involved in Page's pre-tape promo being moved to another location. Furthermore, Punk confronted Ryan Nemeth at the June 21 episode of Dynamite, getting in Nemeth's face over his "softest man alive" tweet. Nemeth was then brought in for the August 12 edition of Collision and sent home, after allegedly not saying hello to Punk and his entourage.
