Report: At Least Seven Wrestlers "Waiting" To Sign With AEW

A bunch of wrestlers could be set to debut for All Elite Wrestling in the near future.

Jake Jeremy of the Wrestling Observer has reported that at least seven names are currently "waiting" to be signed by All Elite Wrestling. There may even be more wrestlers, but seven names are known to be joining the promotion.

Who those wrestlers are has not been confirmed, nor has it been confirmed when they are expected to be signed by All Elite Wrestling beyond that seven talents are waiting to join the company.

A glut of wrestlers became free agents on July 23 after their 90-day non-compete clauses expired following their WWE releases in the aftermath of WrestleMania 42. This includes the Motor City Machine Guns, Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, Kairi Sane, Santos Escobar, Zoey Stark, Bo Dallas, Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, and Dexter Lumis. Other talents released by WWE following WrestleMania 42 but still tied down to non-compete clauses includes Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of The New Day and Jeff Cobb.

Reports have noted that The New Day are expected to sign with All Elite Wrestling, while the expectation within TNA is that Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin will land in AEW.
