Report: Bryan Danielson To Be Involved With AEW Collision Creative
Bryan Danielson will be pulling out his pencil for AEW Collision
May 19, 2023
Upon signing with All Elite Wrestling in September 2021, Bryan Danielson stated that he had no interest in helping with creative in the promotion.
The American Dragon has seemingly since changed his mind, though, and Fightful Select have reported that Danielson will be contributing to AEW Collision creative. How involved Danielson will be is currently unknown.
Danielson was involved with creative during his final years in WWE and he was reportedly behind brief pushes for the likes of Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Chad Gable, and Drew Gulak. He was also credited with pitching a singles run for Big E while his New Day faction mates were injured, a run that culminated with Big E reigning as WWE Champion.
Fightful noted those who worked with Danielson on WWE creative had great things to say about the former WWE Champion's demeanour.
Danielson remains active on AEW TV as a member of Blackpool Combat Club. The stable are scheduled to face off with The Elite in Anarchy in the Arena at Double or Nothing on Sunday, May 28.
Tony Khan remains the head booker in AEW and the likes of QT Marshall and Sonjay Dutt are reportedly heavily involved in putting shows together. Others who assist with creative include Pat Buck, Will Washington, Dean Malenko, Jerry Lynn, and Christopher Daniels. The likes of The Elite, Jon Moxley, FTR, Chris Jericho, and CM Punk also have heavy input into their own storylines.
AEW Collision will debut on June 17. The show will air every Saturday night on TNT in the United States from 8 pm until 10 pm ET.
