Report: Carlito May Not Be Done With WWE

Carlito made a big return to WWE last month, coming out to even the odds in the San Juan Street Fight between Bad Bunny and Damian Priest, saving Rey Mysterio from the Judgment Day. He was greeted with an enormous ovation from the Puerto Rican crowd - so much so that some fans online have even suggested a return for the former United States Champion. A report from PWInsider had indicated that he may not be done with WWE. 

The report stated that Carlito was in Orlando, Florida on WWE business, though the exact nature of him being there is still unclear for now. Whether it was a trip to the Performance Centre on coaching duties or something else isn’t known, though Carlito did mention recently in an interview with The Metro that he would be open to returning to the company. Carlito did take to twitter and responded to these rumours, revealing that he was on a flight during SmackDown. 

Carlito last made a cameo appearance in the 2021 men’s Royal Rumble match, though before that his last match came all the way back in 2010 prior to leaving the company.
