Report: Chelsea Green Exits IMPACT Wrestling

Chelsea Green reportedly exits IMPACT Wrestling after much speculation

Chelsea Green’s IMPACT future has been the subject of much speculation recently, with reports suggesting the ‘Hot Mess’ had departed the company after a recent round of TV tapings.

With WWE refreshing its Women’s Division it was reported that Green could be brought back into the fold, although Green had claimed that no such approach had been made. Now amidst confusion surrounding the issue, PWInsider have reported that Green has indeed left IMPACT, with a vignette shown on the November 10 broadcast of IMPACT Wrestling serving as Green’s on-screen departure.

As seen on November 10, Green lost to Mickie James in singles action on IMPACT TV, before telling VXT tag partner Deonna Purrazzo that she was ‘going home’.

As Laurel Van Ness, Green first wrestled for IMPACT from 2016 to 2018, before a three year stint in WWE. Green’s WWE and NXT runs were hampered by injuries, with a recurring wrist injury demoting Green to the injury list for large portions of her tenure. This second run with IMPACT lasted a little over a year, with Green returning to the company at Slammiversary in July 2021, several months after her WWE exit.
