Valerie Loureda Makes WWE In-Ring Debut

Valerie Loureda stepped into the ring at an NXT live event this past weekend

Prospective WWE NXT star Valerie Loureda made her in-ring debut this past weekend at an NXT live event.

The former MMA fighter competed for the first time at the November 12 house show in Orlando, Florida. On it she teamed with Xyon Quinn and Bronco Nima to take on Andre Chase, Duke Hudson and Thea Hail in a losing effort.

Commenting on her debut on Twitter afterwards, Valerie wrote "I did it. My WWE journey has begun. Xoxo, LV". On her other social media channels she shared a tearful video noting that her NXT debut came exactly a year after her last MMA fight.

Loureda fought five times for the Bellator MMA promotion, amassing a 4-1 record. She signed with WWE in June and has been working full-time at the Performance Centre since July.

After reading the online reaction to her in-ring debut, Loureda took to Twitter to say thank you to fans by writing:

"Honestly I've been reading everyone's tweets and you all give me so much motivation and positivity, thank you. I'm just a young girl working hard trying to make it for myself and my family".
