2022 has marked the fiftieth anniversaries of the two most important wrestling promotions in Japanese history; New Japan Pro Wrestling, and All Japan Pro Wrestling. As part of the big celebrations, the two promotions have worked with each other throughout the year, and it doesn’t look like they’re finished yet.

All Japan are set to host XmasMANIAx on December 25 in Korakuen Hall, and have revealed that former AJPW stars and current NJPW stars BUSHI and SANADA will wrestle on the card.

This will mark the first appearance for the current Los Ingobernables de Japon in an All Japan ring for several years, with BUSHI having left the promotion in 2012, whilst SANADA exited one year later in 2013.

2022 already has seen many notable crossovers between NJPW and AJPW, with Night Three of Wrestle Kingdom 16 in January turning into a New Japan vs. All Japan show.

Several other NJPW wrestlers will appear at XmasMANIAx, with young lions Yuto Nakajima, Akio Fujita, and Oiwa Ryohei slated to appear, as well as Toru Yano and Yuji Nagata
