WWE reportedly expressing some concern about Finn Balor
Finn Balor returned to winning ways on the April 10 edition of WWE Raw, with the Judgment Day leader earning a victory over Rey Mysterio a little over a week on from his loss to Edge at WWE WrestleMania 39.
Balor's inclusion in the match was reportedly the subject of some concern within WWE, with Fightful Select reporting that Balor is believed to be ‘banged up.' The news will come as little surprise considering the former NXT Champion had to have a massive gash in his head stapled shut during his brutal Hell in a Cell bout at Mania.
Indeed, Balor has wrestled eight matches across WWE since the beginning of March, four of which were televised, with Balor wrestling Cody Rhodes on the house show loop heading into WrestleMania. Following the show, Balor confirmed on social media that he was also dealing with a grade two calf tear.
With the feud between Judgment Day and Rey Mysterio and the LWO showing no signs of slowing down, it remains to be seen how often Balor will be used in active competition in the following weeks.
