Report: 'Decent Amount' Of Fans Left During AEW Dynamite Main Event

Many fans didn't stick around for all of AEW Dynamite

All Elite Wrestling headed to Tampa, Florida for the special 200th episode of AEW Dynamite, with the show emanating from the Yuengling Center. WrestleTix reported that 4,542 tickets were distributed for the live taping of Dynamite, with much of Friday's episode of AEW Rampage also being taped after Dynamite went off the air.

Richard Trionfo of PWInsider was in attendance at the Yuengling Center for Dynamite and they noted that the building looked full for the areas that AEW sold tickets for and the crowd was loud, even if there were less people at the show than other TV tapings in Central Florida. Many fans seemingly didn't want to stick around for the entirety of Dynamite, however, as Trionfo noted "there was a decent amount of the crowd that left during the main event of Dynamite and pockets of people would leave throughout Rampage."

Why exactly fans decided to leave is unknown. The main event of Dynamite saw Hikaru Shida defeat Toni Storm to become a two-time AEW Women's World Champion.

Other notes from the show revealed the biggest pops of the night were for Chris Jericho, MJF, The Hardys, and the debuting Rob Van Dam. In particular, the crowd popped for Van Dam using 'Walk' as his entrance music.
