All Elite Wrestling's Double or Nothing 2026 pay-per-view was a "huge success", according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, and it was the biggest pay-per-view since AEW's major shows began airing on HBO Max with All Out 2025.

Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Double or Nothing drew more pay-per-view buys than Revolution 2026, which was the biggest AEW pay-per-view since All In 2025. The numbers Meltzer has seen place Double or Nothing 15 per cent above Revolution, but Meltzer believes that number is higher than what the final pay-per-view buy rate will be.

According to Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter on March 30, Revolution 2026 was 27 per cent above Worlds End 2025's buy rate of 140,000, which would mean Revolution had an estimated buy rate of around 177,000. Should Double or Nothing 2026 finish 15 per cent above that, this would mean the show drew around 204,000 buys.

Double or Nothing 2026 drawing more pay-per-view buys than Revolution 2026 makes it one of the biggest pay-per-views in AEW history. AEW's most successful pay-per-view remains All Out 2021 with 215,000 buys, followed by All In 2023 with 200,000. All In 2025 generated between 180,000 and 185,000 buys, while Revolution 2024 drew 180,000 buys.

AEW Double or Nothing 2026 aired on Sunday, May 24 from New York City's Louis Armstrong Stadium. The pay-per-view was headlined by an AEW World Title vs. Hair Match between Darby Allin and MJF, and also featured the latest Stadium Stampede Match, FTR vs. Adam Copeland & Christian Cage in an I Quit New York Street Fight for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, and Kazuchika Okada vs. Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW International Title.
