Report: Dragon Lee Dealing With Visa Issues Following WWE Signing

Dragon Lee signed for WWE in late 2022

When Dragon Lee signed with WWE in December 2022 it surprised many, as Lee had recently wrestled on All Elite Wrestling TV alongside his brother RUSH.

Lee also wrestled in Tony Khan’s ROH in July 2022 before WWE made their approach, however, Lee is yet to debut in either WWE or NXT, and according to a report from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, it’s all down to Lee experiencing visa issues.

Meltzer speculated that NXT would have wanted to debut the former ROH World Television Champion at their recent Vengeance Day special, but alas it did not come to fruition.

Lee recently commented on his decision to sign with WWE, citing Shawn Michaels and Batista as early influences. WWE reportedly approached Lee after learning that his AEW/ROH appearances in 2022 were done without a contract, with WWE believed to have offered a deal to Lee after a couple of tryouts for the company.

As well as ROH, Lee has also held gold in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and Lucha Libre AAA
