Report: Drew Gulak Re-Signs With WWE

He wasn't gone for long...

On May 16, Drew Gulak was suddenly moved to the alumni section on WWE.com and it later emerged that the former NXT Cruiserweight Champion's contract had expired. Reports noted that both parties failed to agree on a new deal because Gulak wanted a pay rise but WWE was unwilling to meet Drew's demands and subsequently withdrew the contract offer that was already on the table.

Dave Meltzer did note Gulak's contract situation was "not a dead issue" and The Master Of PowerPoint was moved back to the active roster on WWE.com yesterday, hinting that he had signed a new deal.

This is indeed the case as Mike Johnson at PWInsider reported that Gulak and WWE have come to terms on a new contract as both parties continued negotiations after the WWE Superstar's deal expired 10 days ago.

Gulak also won't be out of action for long as Fightful Select revealed he will be in a battle royal on this week's episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
