Report: NXT Star's Main Roster Call-Up "Imminent"

In the past few months, numerous NXT Superstars have moved to the main roster. Shayna Baszler made her long-anticipated move to Monday Night Raw and featured in a high profile feud with Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair joined up with The Street Profits, and Austin Theory replaced Andrade at WrestleMania 36 and has remained on the red brand ever since.

Another NXT star will be moving to the main roster very soon as Dave Meltzer reported on F4W Online that Matt Riddle's call-up is "imminent" and his Cage match with Timothy Thatcher will either be his final match in NXT or will lead to his final match. 

Mike Johnson at PWInsider later revealed that The King Of Bros will be heading to Friday Night SmackDown and WWE has been planning to call-up Riddle since before 'Mania but those plans were put on hold because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. 

The former NXT Tag Team Champion has said in recent weeks he would like the opportunity to wrestle on the main roster and that the possibilities are endless as to what he can achieve with the Superstars on Monday Night Raw and SmackDown.
