Report: Further Details On Why CM Punk Has Blocked Christopher Daniels From AEW Collision

CM Punk has reportedly had Christopher Daniels barred from AEW Collision

Details have seemingly emerged this week as to how AEW Collision operates on a Saturday night, with details of expectations, etiquette, and who is and isn’t preferred to be working the shows revealed.

A report emerged stating that CM Punk has potentially blocked several AEW roster members and backstage officials from working Collision, with the likes of Nick Nemeth, Matt Hardy, and Christopher Daniels believed to have been sent home or outright refused the opportunity to work the shows.

With Daniels - AEW Manager of Talent Relations - a report from PWInsider states that Punk has allegedly barred Daniels from working backstage at Collision in part due to his role in the infamous ‘Brawl Out’ backstage fight at All Out 2022.

The report states that Punk has ‘put his foot down’ and outright refuses to let Daniels at the show, with Punk feeling that Daniels took The Elite’s side during the infamous fight last September. The fact that Ace Steel isn’t allowed at Collision to produce Punk segments, in particular, has seemingly reinforced Punk's stance.

Many believe this is a situation AEW will need to rectify in some manner going forward due to the importance of Daniels' role within the promotion.
