A talent made their return on the August 15 edition of NXT.

Tyler Bate and Joe Coffey faced off in singles action on the Tuesday night show but the bout was ruled a no contest after Dabba-Kato made his return to WWE TV and took out both men. Joe Coffey managed to quickly escape but Tyler Bate wasn't so lucky, eating a Chokeslam from Dabba-Kato as the big man ended the segment standing tall.

Why Dabba-Kato decided to attack Bate and Coffey is anyone's guess. The former Commander Azeez hadn't been seen on WWE TV since he lost to Axiom and SCRYPTS in a Handicap Match on the June 13 edition of NXT. Dabba-Kato returned to WWE NXT earlier this year, initially rekindling his alliance with Apollo Crews before turning on the former Intercontinental Champion.

Dabba-Kato has had several gimmicks in WWE, first as Babatunde, before he was repackaged as Dabba-Kato for Raw Underground. After the concept's failure, Kato resurfaced on WWE TV as Commander Azeez at WrestleMania 37.
