WWE star Drew McIntyre will be moving from Raw to SmackDown, with a big programme planned for him in the future.

A recent report noted that, while McIntyre has been a fixture of both Raw and SmackDown in recent times, he is still expected to move to the blue brand full-time.

The first order of business for Drew will be reigniting his rivalry with Damian Priest heading into WrestleMania 41. After that, however, The Scottish Warrior will likely tangle with current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer wrote that moving McIntyre from Raw to SmackDown has been the plan for months, long before there was an idea of doing another programme between him and Priest.

According to the report, a programme between McIntyre and Rhodes was planned back in 2023 but ended up being nixed after Cody failed to win the WWE Title at WrestleMania 39.

McIntyre stormed out of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view last weekend after his elimination at the hands of Priest was bungled. It was subsequently revealed that LA Knight was the wrestler not only Drew but other WWE stars were unhappy with in the Men's Royal Rumble, feeling that he was trying to get himself (and not the match) over.
