WWE's next major pay-per-view will be Elimination Chamber, with the show being presented from the Rogers Centre (FKA SkyDome) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Saturday, March 1.
Although he didn't punch his ticket to WrestleMania 41 at the Royal Rumble, John Cena is scheduled to win the Men's Elimination Chamber Match on March 1, according to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The expectation was Cena would be winning the Elimination Chamber Match but this just confirms it.
Cena is planned to face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41 and Meltzer noted Cena earning the title shot in the Chamber has been the plan since "probably October or November." Cena vs. Rhodes will be centred around Cena's quest to become a record-breaking 17-time world champion.
Only John Cena and CM Punk have been confirmed for the Men's Elimination Chamber so far. Roman Reigns was reportedly written off WWE TV to avoid booking him in the match as it would mean Reigns would have to be pinned and WWE wish to protect him.
